So me and Carlos took apart my ps3 to try to fix it. We did succeed but it broke again after 3 min of play. Oh well this video is for anyone who wants to try.

Getting a Pro Phone
So many choices out there now hun?
Just to name some:
G1, The Droid, Iphone, Nuxus One, Windows Phones, Palm, Blackberries, Flip phones and brick phones.
But your going to get a new one soon.... so what to pick?
The first thing you are going to have to decided if you are already tied down to a carrier or not. Most new phones require a two year contract. In my case my contract is up so I am free to choose whom ever I like.
I am in Boise so that comes down to AT&T, Verizon or Tmobile.. I really don't count cricket but they are out their too. Most of the time phones between Tmobile and AT&T can be used on both. I had AT&T with no complaints but I am picking who ever has the best phone
Second you will want to think about what your phone is going to do for you. Back in the day there was flip phones and... that was pretty much it made calls send text maybe a picture? But now we can get online, use maps, maybe an app store? So what do you need. Just a phone? Calls text, Do you want picture or video? These are the things that you need to consider.
Right in to it then.
The iPhone: Though many devices came before it sporting MP3 and maps, other smart phone characteristics. This we all know is the phone that really started the movement. There are a few flavors of this phone but it really comes down to the 3G or 3GS. Both have an app store with more then 10,000 apps for anything you could need. Syncs with iTunes for all you who already have an iPod or a Mac. Touch screen and very very easy to use. You can not go wrong with this phone, only one slight catch, AT&T. If you don't have them or don't like them you might skip over this one.
Android Phones: Just a little over a year ago Google and a bunch of others got together and released a smart phone operating system that would be for everyone. Thats right even you are an owner of this system and may do what you please with it (GPL, BSD ). All the phones I have seen such as the myTouch, Droid or Nexus all have touch screens a similar interfaces that are easy to use. Also with just a little smaller app store then Apple you will get almost all the same apps you know and love. Also your phones information is backed up on the web; integrating all the things you use Google for. These phones are on AT&T, Verison, and Tmobile.
Those above are my true recommendations for a phone but just so I am not leaving out the other choices there is also:
Blackberries: Come in a few shapes and sizes and sport a small app store that should grow in the future
WebOS (Palm) phones: A clean touch screen interface with the first to do multi tasking apps.
Windows Mobile: Have been out there for a long time and trying to take back some spot light with newer versions and applications.
Go ahead leave comments for what you think or anything you would like to add that I left out.
(Do to changes to the site I am sure any product that I have talked about will show up on the side or below the posts if you want any more information such as price or services. Make sure you get all the information you can ;) )

Yellow Light of Death
I am sorry to say that today my PS3 died. I was playing COD kicking some serious ass when off it goes. The Light flashed yellow for a second then continued to blink red. If the light only blinks yellow that just means it has over heated but blinking red after yellow, according to Sony means only that you need to send it in for repairs ( really they will give you a refurbished one ) Even after a couple hours still dead.
So I have no money and 3 options. One I can send it in for 150 dollars to get a refurbished one.
Two I can pay 300 for a new 120GB slim.
Three I can open it up and try to re flow the points on the CPU and GPU as this is the most common problem in all high end electronics.
If I choose option three I will film and put it up here. Wish me luck.
P.S to 360 fans - STFU cuz my ps3 made it three years have fun sending your RRoD back to M$
(I also added a video of my ps3 )
(Update: I will start the reflow process next weekend and will have a video)

Up With Pro Skills
So oddly enough some of you deiced that you were cool enough to come read this, or I have become so world renown with all my pro skills that you are researching history... of me.
I deiced to start this blog because I have got a bunch of jumbled and random information in my head that when used for a practice, would be considered, by me, pro skills. I believe I need to get this info out of my head so this seemed like the best idea, and maybe I may ( <---- See right there I just took a break to get some milk and I completely forgot what I was typing ) even be helpful to some of you out there. (<--- I just made this part up because I forgot what I was going to say and this seemed to fit. If it was ever my original idea I will never know )
A little background on me if you don't know me, but chances are you do and that is the only reason you are glancing over this. My hobbies are mostly doing stuff with new tech and making it work in the most efficient manner possible. Part of that skill is people as well. People are similar to computers in a way, or really computers are similar to people. That is why I like this field.
You will notice that some of my text seems broken, because this may often be off the top of my head and I might decided that I don't care what it says and post it without reading over it. Also my spelling sucks but thank God for spell check, or Google because I am using their browser.... and blogger... and email.... and voice mail.... so yeah.
I will probably post often or I may forget about this completely. Every time I do though I will put it up on my Facebook or something easy like that.
Right now this is the work in progress so I will see how it turns out.
First tiny bit of advice so you don't leave with nothing.... (<--- put my self on the spot now I am drawing a blank) stop using Windows XP and Windows 7 is worth the buy. More on that later.
